1999 Breeders' Cup Preview

The following sections list current major contenders for the 1999 Breeders' Cup.   The information provided includes the name of the contender, the horse's best Performance Figure (PF) in a 1999 graded stakes race when among the top three finishers, the sire, the sire line, the broodmare sire, the broodmare sire line, the sire/broodmare sire bloodline cross (where P = Phalaris and NP = non-Phalaris), the Dosage figures, the owner, the breeder and the trainer.   At present, the sire and broodmare sire AWD's (average winning distance in North American open stakes races) are left blank.  They will be added as the entry list narrows down.  For comparison, the history of Dosage in the Breeders' Cup can be found here.
